Birther Bill

April 19, 2011 by USA Post

Birther Bill, After being comfortably elected after blaming illegal immigrants without shame for everything from crime rates to higher bodies without heads (which was not true), governor of Arizona, Jan Brewer has tired of the insane proposal by right-wingers in her state.
She is tired of Arizona made a laughingstock and the subject of a boycott of tourism, as it has been for adopting a tough anti-immigrant law that smacks of apartheid. (Having been elevated to the post after Janet Napolitano, resigned to become secretary of HHS, Brewer was then running for her first term and supported the bill.)
So Brewer vetoed a bill that would have required Birther call on all presidential candidates to present a set of documents showing he was born in the U.S. From the Arizona Republic:

Governor Jan Brewer, on Wednesday shot down an effort by the Arizona Legislature to ask presidential candidates to provide proof of citizenship to get out the vote in the state.

In her veto letter, Brewer said House Bill 2177 “creates significant new problems, while doing nothing constructive for Arizona.”

The House and Senate could override the governor’s veto with a two-thirds majority in each chamber, but on Monday, this seems unlikely . . .

“I never imagined that comes with a bill that would require candidates for the presidency of the nation’s largest and most powerful on earth to present its” early baptism or circumcision certificates, among other documents, the Arizona Secretary of State, “Brewer said in her letter. “This is a bridge too far.”

Promoting measures Birther call comes from questions about the birthplace of President Barack Obama. Hawaiian officials have repeatedly confirmed the birth of Obama in her state, but some still believe he was born in Kenya, homeland of his father.

Lawmakers in several states, including Arizona, have proposed legislation requiring candidates to show proof of citizenship. But, like many lawsuits have been filed against the qualifications of Obama, has not been successful.

Women who stop at many tough on the Republican base, such as increased Donald Trump in the polls have shown. And action is using beer as evidence that she is part of the conspiracy. Of course, that means you believe in time travel. How could Obama’s mother have a birth announcement in a Honolulu newspaper in?
