Billy Walters

Billy Walters, The Patriots, seeded in the AFC and Super Bowl favorite, disappointed a large percentage of bettors in more advertising and betting game weekend.

When a dominant team is taken down, Las Vegas sports books, often nonprofit, and that was the case with the death of New England.

With the Patriots favored by about 9 points, and about minus-450 on the line of money, wads of cash parlay and teaser were turned into trash.

But wiseguys were on the right side. The strongest of all, “Billy”Walters, who was profiled on CBS” 60 Minutes “Sunday evening, his money riding on the Jets, according to some sources.

But that was fairly predictable, and so were the Jets-Patriots models Paris.

“It was a scenario Super Bowl – to lay the points and take the money line,” said MGM sports resorts book director Jay Rood, who provides the number of 8 ½ to 9 ½ Saturday morning. “I could see that we have a tidal wave of money Patriots.”

Rood said the books MGM wrote about 650 tickets online money (in the widest-350) on the Jets, compared to about 60 on the Patriots. Payment on Paris Jets money online, he said, totaled more than $ 250,000.

“There are many happy people there,” Rood said. “We had a little money sharp end on the Jets.

But the day was always a small win, “he said, because of liability on the line connecting parlays with Green Bay, Chicago and New England. These tickets imploded with the Patriots.

There were 17 runs scored after two minutes of warning – crowned by a Brady touchdown pass with 24 seconds left – to push the score to the total of 45.

“The patriots and” more “would have been a pretty ugly scenario if we dodged a bullet there,” Rood said.

The day began with the Bears, the favorites of 10 points, taking care of business in a 35-24 victory over Seattle that was an eruption in reality. Chicago led 28-0 and 35-10 before surrendering two touchdowns behind and posts a warning lightly in some punters, like me.

All four games last weekend reviewing the totals, starting Saturday when Ben Roethlisberger rallied the Steelers past the Baltimore Ravens 31-24, and Aaron Rodgers and the Packers have ambushed the Falcons’ Atlanta, 48-21.

The last four NFL is fixed, so be prepared for the popcorn classic double function.

The Steelers are 3 ½-point favorites over the Jets in the AFC and the Packers are 3 to 3 ½-point road favorites over the Bears at a meeting of the league’s long-awaited neighborhood NFC rivals.

Among the quarters still standing, Roethlisberger is probably considered the most reliable. He’s been there and won.

Rodgers has the hotter hand. He shredded the Falcons, connecting on 31 of 36 passes for 366 yards and three touchdowns, and he will show you by throwing cheese at Soldier Field.

Bettors, undoubtedly support the Packers. Steelers-Jets match will share more opinions.

Legendary sports gambler Billy Walters and Kenny White oddsmaker tell Lara Logan about the game, then back to December 1975, when Mike Wallace interviewed Clint Hill, who was on the scene of the day, President John F. Kennedy was assassinated, also, Scott Pelley talks to “60 Minutes” overtime “on its report on the accused shooter Jared Loughner Tucson, and a report he did in the past on a review of intelligence on murderers.
