Billy On The Street Funny Or Die, The fuse will open a version of half-hour TV Funny or Die Billy On The Street, played by comedian Billy Eichner, Dec. 22 at 11 pm

Every Thursday night, Billy hits the streets of New York to test the unsuspecting pedestrian in his knowledge of pop culture in a fast paced and fun show style trivia game. Lil ‘Wayne to Meryl Streep, Billy covers all the bases with an urgency and an almost hilariously frightening passion.

Part of the game show, comedy, the program incorporates several rounds, and a touch of fun in the final round is subjective, and contestants must agree with the opinions of Billy in pop culture to win. How the contestants progress through the game correlates with the amount of money and take home prizes.

Mike Farah, president of Funny or Die Production, Billy Eichner and Krysia Plonka as executive producers, Fuse, said in a statement.

Eichner has also written and starred in his own stage show “nation building” and “Billy Eichner Goes Pop!” and has appeared on Bravo, VH1, E!, and other outlets.

“We could not be more excited to bring a unique personality Billy Eichner to merge in this fun musical game the streets of New York,” said Brad Schwartz, senior vice president of programming and operations, Fuse. “Competitors may think you know pop culture, but have no idea what to expect watch for pedestrians. I’m a little nervous about you.”

Eichner, a regular performer at the New York improvisational comedy and theater, the Upright Citizens Brigade, initially created his “man on the street” videos as part of their live shows. Featured Videos Eichner amazing people on the streets of New York, asking their views on politics and pop culture. The videos became viral hits in 2010 and appeared in The Huffington Post, Gawker, Entertainment Weekly, VH1, Jezebel, New York Magazine, and Funny or Die, among others.

This is fun or engagement of the third series of Die in a growing list of out of the production network, including HBO presents Funny or Die and Comedy Central, Jon Benjamin has a van. The first feature film Funny or Die is, billions of Tim and Eric dollar film is scheduled for release 2012.
