Billy Joel, William Martin Billy Joel (born May 9, 1949) is an American pianist and musician, singer-songwriter and composer of classical music. Since releasing his hit first, “Piano Man” in 1973, Joel became a recording artist sixth best-selling solo artist and the third best seller in the U.S., according to the RIAA.

Joel had Top 40 hits in the years 1970, 1980 and 1990 to 33 Top 40 United States, all of which he wrote alone. It is also an award-winning six Grammy Awards, a candidate of 23 Grammy Awards and sold over 150 million records worldwide. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame songwriters (1992), the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (1999), the Long Island Music Hall of Fame (2006) and the Hit Parade Hall of Fame (2009). Joel “retired” from recording pop music in 1993 but continues to tour (often with Elton John).

BILLY JOEL Elton John does not hate! Elton recently said he thinks Joel can “break his face,” he said after the Rolling Stone rocker that goes “light rehab”.

“He hates me right now and I understand why,” said Elton Matt Lauer on Today. “He sent me a message and he is not happy and I understand.

“I’m sorry I had to say, but I say this because I really want Billy to live a long and very happy. That’s all it is now. I understand why he was pissed with me and I can take on the chin.

“I’m just trying to help. Maybe I should have done in private, but I was so frustrated over the years.

“But I do love her and I want to emphasize that. He may want to punch my face right now, but that’s okay.”

But in a statement the magazine Rolling Stone, Joel insists he is not angry at the Rocket Man hitmaker.

“1: I do not hate Elton John, the statement said.” 2: I do not want to “break his face.” 3: If he wants to call me, my number is still the same. 4: Good luck with the film. Billy Joel. ”

Billy already responded to comments by his agent Elton as saying: “I have enjoyed our relationship too much to let something as random as these comments change my affection for him. Elton just Elton. “.

Maybe your baby is a budding Billy Joel or some Shakira-to-be. They pound on pots and move like crazy when they hear the music. And you think maybe I should channel all that energy into something productive and educational. A music class at Groove in Larchmont could be just the thing for you and your little miracle. The studio is moving to a new location on Monday, February 14 at 108 Chatsworth Ave.

“This is the class that I know of where the parents have as good a time as children,” said Lesley Barovick owner.
