Bill Conlin Molestation

Bill Conlin Molestation, Long time Daily News sports columnist Bill Conlin resigned from his position on Tuesday, Deadspin reports, after the Philadelphia Inquirer’s Nancy Phillips wrote an investigative report containing allegations that Conlin molested children. The story will reportedly be published soon.

Deadspin reports that Conlin has hired counsel to defend himself against Phillips’ report. For now, according to Deadspin, Conlin is at his condo in Largo, Florida.

Conlin, 77, joined the Daily News in 1965 after five years at the Evening Bulletin. He covered Penn State football, Big 5 sports and boxing for the News before becoming a columnist in 1987. He has won numerous awards, including the Pennsylvania Sportswriter of the Year.
