Biggest Loser Finale 2009:Eastern Connecticut’s Rudy Pauls of Brooklyn fought his way into NBC’s “The Biggest Loser” finale Tuesday, losing another 43 pounds in his 60 days home to earn his spot in the three-way final weigh in next week, vying for a $250.000 prize.

His total weight dropped from 442, when he began the show, to 253 pounds. “I haven’t been this light since high school,” he said.

But losing even more weight was Danny Cahill, who lost 59 pounds in the 60 days home. Viewers voted on which woman will be up against them — Liz Young or Amanda Arlauskas , with results to be announced next week.

Pauls ended first in a 26.2 mile marathon run along the Pacific Coast and was the only one to run the entire way, though he said he had never run more than 13 miles before. He also beat his personal goal of fitting it in less than 5 ½ hours. He was motivated by his old partner

Pauls seemed to be having a more difficult time in his time home, trying to fit in training along with 12-hour workdays. But he remained focused on his goal of getting into the finals.
