Betty White Animal Work

January 10, 2012 by staff

Betty White Animal Work, It was a grand party yesterday afternoon at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles where NBC taped Betty White’s 90th Birthday: A Tribute to America’s Golden Girl. The red carpet was aglitter with famous stars paying tribute to one true professional and a very generous humane advocate.

NBC will broadcast the party on January 16th – one day before White’s actual birthday. Such stars from White’s past and present as Mary Tyler Moore, Ed Asner, Carol Burnett, Jennifer Love Hewitt and even sarcastic host Joel McHale who just likes to be around Betty will say a few words in honor of the joyous celebration.

When People Magazine however asked Betty what she would be doing on her actual birthday, she said she would be relaxing at home with Pontiac, her golden retriever.

White is the President Emeritus of Morris Animal Foundation, a national foundation specializing in animal health and their welfare. White’s dog Pontiac was adopted by her from the foundation.

And even at 90 years young, White has no intentions of retiring or even slowing down while she is having such a great time. When asked about her New Year’s Resolution – White tells us that she appreciates everything and everyday of her life.
