Doug Wald, co-president of Raw, where Frankel was once a client has claimed it is entitled to a share of the benefits of reality star from the sale of its line of ccktail Skinnygirl shortly after she fired him.
“Unfortunately, one of the signs of success is being frivolous lawsuits, like this,” Frankel told The Hollywood Reporter said in a statement. “This is just someone with their hand out, he did nothing to win and I will not be intimidated.”
The former “Real Housewives of New York” cast member reportedly grossed a whopping 120 million and for sale. Wald is seeking a reduction of 10% plus and $ 100 million in punitive damages.
But Wald up may actually owe money Frankel whether to proceed with a lawsuit on your own.
“We’re exploring all our options,” he told THR, “including the filing of counterclaims against these people.”
Frankel said more people that despite this setback, life is still “good”, mostly because her family – husband Jason and daughter hops 1 year old, Bryn – are doing well.
“But make no mistake, I am a strong woman, and I have no fear and will not back down when I’m intimidated by something with zero merit,” he told the magazine. “Success is earned by hard work, not take advantage of others.”
