BET AwardsBET Awards, BET Awards 2011 the nostalgic and emotional homage to several falling stars and the life of Patti LaBelle, but beleaguered hip-hop singer Chris Brown dominated the show on Sunday night.

Brown, who admitted his guilt for two years for brutal assault of his ex-girlfriend Rihanna, won four trophies and performed twice during the broadcast from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.

Brown began to mourn at the same stage at the BET Awards last year while performing a tribute to Michael Jackson.

Ironically, fans were reminded of Brown condemns domestic violence Rihanna error when announced as the winner of the Coca-Cola viewers towards the end of the transmission.

Tiffany Green, a range of Flat Rock, Michigan, was selected by BET to read the winner of a Sprint Evo tablet. Green called Brown’s name first, but then looked at the teleprompter confidence before announcing that Rihanna had won.

“Well, that was difficult,” the singer said in accepting the award Drake Rihanna, who was not present.

BET later announced that Brown was the “choice of the spectators,” not Rihanna.

Stephen Hill, director of programming at BET, among racks blame for what he called a “human error”.

Brown was correct name on the tablet in the hand of Green, but the show’s producers put the wrong name – Rihanna – at the teleprompter, Hill said.

Pictures of Green’s stunned expression quickly became an Internet sensation. She tweeted that she was crying backstage.

When the dust settled, Brown had won for best male R & B artist, video of the year, best collaboration and viewer’s choice award.

Brown not only performs bet a medley of his songs, but also later took the stage with rapper Big Sean.

When Brown made an appearance in the post-show backstage room the media, refused to answer questions. Instead, he got on stage with two trophies, posing with a big smile.

“I did not get to thank God for this,” Brown said after Twitter. “He taught me a lesson in life. And I thank you all, thank you!”
