Tony Award WinnersTony Award Winners:Tony Award winners celebrate their victories on Sunday night with several high profile awards will be personality best known for his work in Hollywood.

Denzel Washington won the award for Best Actor in a drama for his work on fences, while Scarlett Johansson won Best Actress at the time for his Broadway debut in a view from the bridge. The winners came from a wide range of musical productions with some different competing for top prizes in their categories.

In several categories, the awards faced a revival of the camp favorite Broadway, La Cage aux folles against the social conscience of Memphis, which tells the story of a forbidden love between a white radio DJ and a black singer. Memphis won Best Musical, while La Cage won Best Musical Revival.
