Bella Vita Tattoo, The State of Florida called a tattoo artist who gave Casey Anthony, the woman on trial for the murder suspects of their small daughter, “Bella Vita” tattoo on July 2nd, 2008, a time when her daughter was reported missing, said media reports.
Bobby Williams told the court that he knew Anthony for several years before giving the tattoo, which means “beautiful life” in Italian, CNN reported.
July 2 was only two weeks after she allegedly killed her two-year-old daughter, Caylee. The trial has attracted a lot of media attention and is now in its fourth week.
He said Anthony seemed happy when she entered his room. Other reports have said in previous testimony, her friends said Anthony seemed upbeat and happy, while her daughter was gone.
“She seemed normal,” said Williams, according to Reuters. “It did not seem upset about something, she seemed happy for the most part.”
Anthony, 25, pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder for the death of her daughter and if convicted, could face the death penalty. Prosecutors allege that strangled her daughter and defense, said her daughter drowned in a pool. The child’s remains were found near a wooded area near her home in December 2008.
