Barclays Golf, The Barclays 2010 golf tournament begins tomorrow, August 26 at the Ridgewood Country Club course, Parasmus, New Jersey, and believe it or not there are already some remarkable news. It seems that Jim Furyk, No. 3 in points entering the PGA Tour Playoffs for the FedEx Cup has been disqualified because he overslept.
Because the alarm on his cell phone failed when he ran out of juice, missed his starting time from 7:30 am for the pro-am, arriving five minutes late. He was disqualified after the first of the four event FedEx Cup playoff. Furyk said: “The rules are the rules. No matter what tournament, I’d be upset. But I’m more upset because this is it. We are here are the end of the (playoff). .. I’m beside myself, but I have a way to climb to silly situations, “according PGA.tour.com.
The hours of the match already scheduled for Thursday and Friday rounds will not fit. In the first round tomorrow Furyk was set to go at 8:16 a.m. ET with Ernie Els and Steve Stricker. The first morning, Tiger Woods is from 7:10 am to Cameron Beckman and Troy Matteson. This event comes on the heels of divorce Woods ever completed and all the media attention surrounding it would be surprising if Woods does not improve their recent poor form. At 8:05 am we’ll see Bubba Watson, a recent finalist in the PGA Championship, go with Hunter Mahan and Matt Kuchar.
In later rounds of Dustin Johnson, famous for the controversy bunker in the PGA Championship that was shocking, therefore, plays at 1:05 pm with Tim Clarke and Ben Crane, while Justin Rose 1:16 pm, Jeff Overton Phil Mickelson and head.
