Barcelona Real Madrid Live, Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho said he was “disgusted to live in this world” after the controversial defeat in the Champions League semi-final to Barcelona and insisted that his team had no chance to return in the second leg in the Camp Nou.

Barca recorded a 2-0 first leg victory at the Bernabeu, thanks to two goals from Lionel Messi late after Madrid was reduced to 10 men on the hour when Pepe was sent off. The Portuguese international was a straight red card by German referee Wolfgang Stark, after a challenge on Barcelona defender Dani Alves.

Following the dismissal of an angry Mourinho was sent to the stands and told the press conference after the game: “Yes, we sometimes am a little disappointed to live in this world, but is this the world we live in.”

He added: “We have to go to Barcelona and looking for some pride, not Peter, who did nothing, not (Sergio) Ramos, who did nothing and without a coach to sit on the bench.”

Ramos was also a reserve that is meant to suspend the second stage next week at the Camp Nou.

“As soon as Pepe was sent off, all problems were resolved,” said Mourinho, whose team had a player sent off in the four meetings with the club this season.

“If, in sporting terms, it is difficult to change this, I would say that it is now impossible.

“If we go there (Camp Nou) and score a goal, we will kill again. We have no chance.

“They have to reach the final and that’s all.”
