Bank Robber Gets B*sted By His Vanity License Plate

Bank Robber Gets B*sted By His Vanity License Plate, There are criminal masterminds and then there’s this guy! Last week a So-Cal man walked into a Chase Bank branch, pulled a gun out of a box, and demanded cash from a teller.

“Give me all the money! More, more,” he said, according to the San Diego Union Tribune. After he was handed $2920 in cash he fled the scene in a white Ford Expedition. So far, sounds like a pro.

Unfortuantely, the clueless crook drove to the scene of the crime in his own vehicle which sported vanity plates. A witness noticed the getaway car and had no trouble remembering the very memorable plates, which read: “ALMDUDE.” This information was turned over to authorities who were able to determine that the vehicle was registered to a Robert Alm. LOLDUDE!

After a canine officer did some research, he learned that the car was regularly parked in the Marina district. They located the vehicle, and then waited for Alm to return. Mr. Alm, 27, was then arrested and charged with bank robbery. He will not be charged with dumb criminal fail, even though he is clearly guilty.
