A practice session of 60 minutes is scheduled for September 3 before the three qualifying rounds. Championship points leader Josef Newgarden was fastest in the single session of Firestone Indy Lights (1 minute, 27.5145 seconds) in the No. 11 of Copart / Big Score / Robo-Pong car to drive four driver Sam Schmidt Motorsports at the top of the timesheet. Drivers will have a total of 15 strokes to help overcome the Honda – a change ECU software used by Honda Performance Development – lasting 18 seconds during the Edmonton Indy. Each entry receives six sets of Firestone Firehawk primary (black side) and three alternative sets (red side) for the weekend.

The main tires are the same specifications used in June in the streets of Toronto. The alternate is new this year. The rain tire is also new this year, and this is the last time you used this specification in particular this season, a rain tire if necessary use different racetrack in the Twin Ring Motegi.

Hildebrand, the driver of car No. 4 National Guard Panther Racing, was joined in the event of the WWE star and spokesperson for Teen Challenge Kofi Kingston.

Panther racing also announced that it has partnered with emerging BioSolutions, a biopharmaceutical company based in Maryland, an associate sponsorship agreement for the Baltimore Grand Prix Grand.
