Bald Suspect Stole Rogaine Long Island, Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and the Fifth Precinct Crime Section are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating two men, one of whom was bald, who are believed to have stolen Rogaine from a CVS pharmacy in Sayville, NY.
Police released photographs of the two suspects taken from video surveillance cameras at the CVS on Long Island and are hoping someone recognizes the men.
According to information released by the Suffolk County Police Department the two black men entered the pharmacy on Saturday, December 17, at approximately 8:45 PM. They were caught by the security videotape placing three boxes of the hair-raising topical cream Rogaine into a gift bag. The surveillance cameras recorded the alleged thieves exiting the store without paying for any merchandise.
The Rogaine is valued at $150.
A $5000 reward is being offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the individuals responsible for the theft. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-8477. All calls will be kept confidential. Images of the suspects can be seen below.
Police authorities have posted pictures of the men, along with details of the crime to the Suffolk County Police Department Facebook wall, hoping someone from the community will recognize the faces and come forward.
