Atlantic County EvacuationAtlantic County Evacuation, Atlantic City Office of Emergency Preparedness is offering free transportation to people who need safe haven from Hurricane Irene. Evacuations will begin at 6 am, according to director Thomas Foley.

Please see the discussions by meteorologists, as the mandatory evacuation will begin at 6:00 am on August 26, 2011 in places below the Elementary

The following schools are the places designated for transfer to the evacuation of residents of Atlantic City:

New Jersey Ave (35 N. New Jersey Ave.)
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. (1700 Marmora Ave)
Venice Park School (1601 N. Ave Penrose)
Texas Avenue (2523 Arctic Ave)
New York Avenue (411 N. New York Ave)
Sovereign Avenue (3223 Arctic Ave)
Brighton Avenue (30 N. Brighton Ave)
Chelsea Heights (4101 Filbert Ave)

“The buses line up buses and bus lines is on the scene integrity in 0800 August 26, 2001 the transfer of residents who need shelter to shelter designated by the Atlantic County Office of Emergency Management”, Foley said in a news release.
