Artist Of The Year, Less than a month after winning the Country Music Association’s Artist of the Year, Taylor Swift won the Artist of the Year at Sunday night’s American Music Awards.

Swift also won favorite female country artist of the year for the fourth time in a row, notes CNN. “I can’t tell you how much I’m really loving this fall season so far,” she said after the show. She has had an immensely successful year thanks to her tour promoting Speak Now. She was also named Billboard’s Woman of the Year in October.

Rapper Nicki Minaj opened the show, during which she later won favorite rap/hip hop artist and favorite hip hop album.

Still, Adele was the big winner of the night, taking home three awards. She won favorite pop/rock album, favorite pop/rock female artist and favorite adult contemporary artist thanks to 21. However, her absence due to recent throat surgery was felt. Other major artists like Beyonce and Rihanna were also missing.

The New Artist of the Year award went to Hot Chelle Rae, according to Rolling Stone. Foo Fighters took home Alternative Rock Band while Soul/R&B Female artist went to Beyonce. Bruno Mars won Pop/Rock Male artist and Maroon 5 won Pop/Rock Band. Rihanna won Soul/R&B album and Jennifer Lopez won Latin Music Artist.
