Argentina ColombiaArgentina Colombia, Argentina Cup host nation of the U.S. campaign is still the spark after a 0-0 draw with Colombia in Group Shock. The draw left Argentina second in the standings with just two points behind Colombia, which have four.

Although Sergio Batista’s men did most of the work, Colombia had the best chances with Dayro Gustavo Moreno guilty of missing opportunities Ramos easy. Ramos Moreno Cruz found in front of goal, but shanked his shot strikers over a few meters. Losing Moreno was more shocking. There was confusion after an unfortunate defensive when Gabriel Milito backpass ended at the foot of Ramos. He managed to round goalkeeper Nicolas Burdisso, but it compensates with a tackle. The ball fell to Moreno, who was eight feet away, with an obvious target open before him. His sidefoot, however, came into the side netting.

Argentina had their chances, as Luis Martinez Ezequiel Lavezzi saw his effort denied Lionel Messi after he had passed. After the break Carlos Tevez dragged his shot wide, while Pablo Armero was also nearby.

However, the match ended goalless in a result that leaves Colombia in a two-point lead at the top of the table. Campaign Argentina is still a spark and if they will hope to return to the tracks in their next match against Costa Rica.
