Aral Sea Before And After:There is a seal in the Central Asian Aral call. It is the smallest sea in the world by size. It is also the sea is drying up and disappearing from the face of the earth in the desert. NASA released images of the Aral Sea before and after.
In this picture, taken by NASA can see how big the Aral was years ago. The “before” of all is the right area. The “after” part of the sea is the area on the left.
Aral is important because it was the 4th largest freshwater lake in the world. Central Asian Republics and Kazakhstan Uzbekistan share the Aral Sea. Also known as the Aral Sea, due to its small size.
Efforts are initiated by the government of Kazakhstan to save Aral. Especially a new dam project is completed to help restore water levels of the Aral Sea.
The good news is that, from its lowest level in 2003, water levels have increased in Aral by 12 meters (39 feet). However, it will take a long and sustained effort of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan to change this dramatic “before and after” the Aral Sea.
