Apple Stores Closing

Apple Stores Closing, Apple closed its stores for several hours today so employees can see a webcast of a memorial service for the whole company to celebrate the lives of its co-founder Steve Jobs, according to a person familiar with the matter.
The memorial will be at 10 am at Apple Cupertino, California, headquarters. It was announced last week by the CEO, Tim Cook. Apple said it is a private event.
A private memorial for Employment was held on Sunday at the Memorial Church at Stanford University. Jobs, who died Oct. 5 at age 56 after a battle with pancreatic cancer, was buried in Palo Alto, California, on October 7. Apple is not holding any public service for him.
Apple’s financial results were below expectations on Tuesday – a rare failure for the company.
After recording several quarters, the period from July to September Apple was biding his time, without the new iPhone or iPad versions.
Net income for the fiscal fourth quarter and 6620 million, or 7.05 per share y. That was 54 percent and from 4.31 billion, or 4.64 per share, a year ago. Analysts polled by FactSet expected and $ 7.28 per share.
And revenues were $ 28.3 billion, up 39 percent. Analysts had expected and 29.4 billion.
