Annette Funicello Fire, Former Mouskateer Annette Funicello is currently recovering in a California hospital for smoke inhalation after a fire destroyed her home this weekend. It was classified as being in stable condition.
The cause of the fire is unknown and remains under investigation. Funicello was home with her husband and her private nurse care at the time of the fire.
They too, were rescued from the flames and taken to a nearby hospital. The former actress is receiving care at home for multiple sclerosis.
The fire took about minutes to extinguish. In addition to her career as an actress, Funicello recorded several singles pop rock.
Annette Funicello was in stable condition after suffering smoke inhalation when a fire broke out at her home in Los Angeles.
Annette Funicello, the former Disney Mouseketeer, is recovering in hospital after a fire engulfed her home in Encino, Calif., reports OnTheRedCarpet.com The fire was extinguished within half an hour but Funicello was home with her husband at the time and suffered the effects of smoke inhalation. The 68-year-old, who has multiple sclerosis, is best known for her performances on “The Mickey Mouse Club” in the 1950s but has also starred in a number of major movies such as “Bbes in Toyland “and” How to stuff a Wild Bikini ‘. Funicello, her husband and her nurse were all taken to a nearby hospital after being rescued from the fire. The agents do not currently know the cause of the fire, but investigations are considered current.
Annette Funicello nature of “Mouseketeer” has since been played by a number of notable celebrities, most recently, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Justin Timberlake, Ryan Gosling and Keri Russell.
