Ann Curry’s Home Squatter, During the past year, “Today Show” co-host Ann Curry had a tenant in her nearly three million townhouse in Manhattan. The strange thing is that she did not even know he lived there.
A squatter has been living in a brownstone Curry owns, but do not live on the Upper West Side, reports NY Post.
The unidentified homeless man was evicted from Curry’s home on Saturday (August 13) after neighbors complained.
“The building is abandoned, for practical purposes,” said John Lee, who lives in the neighborhood. “It has become an eyesore and a problem. About a year ago, I realized that someone living there without power light.”
This is not the problem first at the home of Curry. After purchasing the home of 3,700 square feet in the tony Manhattan in 2003, she and her husband Brian Ross embarked on a series of renovations. However, after being accused of a series of violations of construction and the demands facing the neighbors, the two abandoned the project.
The couple currently lives in Gramercy Park area.
When asked to comment, a spokeswoman for NBC, said, “Ann Curry is traveling to Africa to cover the humanitarian crisis and could not be reached for comment.”
