Angry Birds, (AFP) - Rovio Mobile, the Finnish software developer who brought the world’s famous mobile game birds in anger, said Wednesday he wanted to develop an animated series based on the game

“We expect a cartoon that would be interesting for the whole family, both adults and children,” spokesman of the Company Town Heijari told AFP.

The game, which was launched for the first mobile operating system from Apple in December 2009, features a cartoon bird without wings that the player must sling into enemy territory to retrieve stolen pig eggs.

Rovio said they have not yet formed an idea of the characters or episodes.

“We seek cooperation with the best writers and the best distributors,” said Heijari.

Popularity birds angry “led to the development of the game for all major brands smartphone, personal computers and game consoles.

The company also launched the sale of goods last year, including bird’s angry plush toys.
