Mitchell, 64, is the wife of former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan, and is the chief correspondent of Foreign Affairs of the NBC. She told viewers her breast cancer had been captured recently while still in its early stages.
“For women and men out there who love the selection matters,” he said. “Do it. The disease can be completely curable, if found, at the right time.”
Speaking at the end of “Andrea Mitchell reports,” he said, “I had planned to go hiking in Wyoming last week, but discovered that I am now one of the one in eight women in this country – incredibly, one in eight – - who have had breast cancer. “
