Amy Winehouse’s Dress Sold, The dress worn by the late Amy Winehouse on the front of her Back to Black album cover has sold for £43,200 as part of the Passion for Fashion auction.

The singer’s father Mitch watched as the dress was snapped up by a fashion museum in Santiago, Chile.

The proceeds will go to the Amy Winehouse foundation, the charity set up following her death, and to the Winehouse family.

“We want to give money to projects that make a direct difference. It is a source of great comfort to know that Amy

would be proud of this and right behind it.”

He added: “Obviously we want to try and raise money for the family and the grandchildren so that they will be able to be helped by Amy too in the years to come so that was very important. We all need to survive.”
