American Psycho Remake

American Psycho Remake, Why in the world does Lionsgate want to remake American Psycho? The film, made only eleven years ago, showcases Christian Bale’s talent and transformation into one of the greatest literary characters ever: Patrick Bateman, a yuppie who takes part in gruesome murders while obsessed with his appearance.
Not only is Bale phenomenal, but the film itself holds to modern standards and remains fairly true to the novel. A remake seems completely unnecessary.
Meanwhile, Kourtney Kardashian’s on-again-off-again boyfriend and baby daddy Scott Disick heard of the remake musings and wrote on Twitter, “Just heard there [sic] doin a remake of American Psycho! Best news i have ever heard! i hope they call me!”
While Disick, 28, has no legitimate acting experience, he does bare an eerie resemblance to Bateman. The novel’s author, Bret Easton Ellis, also noticed the similarities. Ellis responded to Disick’s wish via Twitter.
“I have warned Lionsgate that I will not approve a new version of ‘American Psycho’ unless it stars SCOTT DISICK or MILES FISHER,” he said, adding, “I am waiting for Scott Disick to ask: ‘Who in the hell is Bret Easton Ellis?’”
It is doubtful Ellis has any real say in the film’s remake, but it’s a nice try.
