American Idol Auditions 2011, North Carolina has continued its traditionally strong representative in the 10th season premiere of American Idol.

Victoria Huggins, 16, of Lumberton, it’s the first night of American Idol. Huggins performance by Gladys Knight “Midnight Train to Georgia” wowed judges.

She also proudly proclaimed after his performance: “I’m ready for the 2011 American Idol.”

Chelsea Sorrell of Stokesdale, it has been the first round of auditions in Hollywood. Sorrell tried to Nashville and it was thanks to Hollywood. Hey … All of us have a local American Idol that made in Hollywood. Her name is Chelsea and she is Sorrell Stokesdale. She sings with the band Chris Lane
“She sang as she almost tripped. She tried last year before and they said it was not what they sought. This year I think she improved,” Brother Rodney Sorrell He told USA Today.

One third of North Carolina, Caleb Johnson, 19, of Asheville, has also traveled to Hollywood. He toured the media before appearing on the show.

“You know, I do not know what to expect, and after obtaining the response of three judges, it was just like, you know, it’s unbelievable. Getting three “yesse is just staggering,” said Johnson WLOS-TV.

Johnson said he decided to try after doing his show at the school of his great talent. Johnson has not revealed how he did in Hollywood.
