The film is under fire because of her sex, violence and representation of Knox. Amanda’s stepfather Chris Mellas said today that Amanda had “seen a little of it and was absolutely horrified by it.” Douglas Preston, author of The Monster of Florence, also said today that this morning the story is not correct, it is based on “erroneous facts and manipulated,” presented at the first trial – “that have been rejected by the appellate court. ”

Today Panettiere stopped by Rachael Ray to chat about the movie and said, “Guilty or innocent, I think what they did to her was and is horrible. I mean you look at the girl and they just made an example out of her in my opinion. … Here we are innocent until proven guilty and they’re that you are guilty until proven innocent, whom, you know, you can really start a whirlwind. ”

Ray asked what question she would ask Panettiere Amanda. Her answer: “Did you do it No, no, I would not say I’d really, really tried, but no you know, I’m curious to know what more she had to say? For me, because at first I wanted to meet her and she did not want to meet me, and understandably so.

“And then suddenly she came back and said she wanted to meet me, and it did not work with the shooting schedule and the fact she was only two days a week with her family and I did not like, you know, that hinder. ”

Panettiere added: “I really, really think this film and how it’s done is done tastefully and done in a way that is so focused on the facts.”
