Alinea Restaurant, Chicago’s Alinea restaurant has been named the sixth best restaurant in the world. The annual ranking London-based Restaurant Magazine site also ranks as the best restaurant in North America. Business partner Nick chef Grant Achatz told the Chicago Tribune Kokon is an incredible honor who kept his rating for the second consecutive year. Alinea has won numerous awards since its release on North Halsted in 2005.
Well-regarded culinary scene of Chicago gets another shot in the arm. Alinea was listed No. 6 on the magazine’s annual restaurant “San Pellegrino World’s Best Restaurants.” Alinea was the highest-ranking American restaurant on the list. Alinea, Grant Achatz and directed by Nick Kokon, improving its 7 Th place ranking last year.

No. on the list was the restaurant Noma in Copenhagen. The restaurant on the American side was called Per Se in New York, registered at No. 10. Alinea (1723 N Halsted St) has been open since 2005, and Chef Achatz is known for its preparation and deconstruction of classic flavors.
