Alfred Angelo Twilight Dress

Alfred Angelo Twilight Dress, If you left the movie theater after The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 ended thinking, “I want a wedding dress just like Bella,” you are in luck. Starting Tuesday, bridal retailer Alfred Angelo will be selling Bella’s Carolina Herrera-designed wedding dress for $799.

According to The Wall Street Journal, Summit Entertainment and Alfred Angelo had been working on getting the replica in stores by the film’s November release since May. The project was kept under strict secrecy, with the retailer which used code names for the dress and keeping those involved to just four people. Designer Michael Shettel admitted that the hardest part of the project was keeping the price down, which forced them to use liquid satin instead of silk as seen in the film. “There were pricing issues to try to get it down to $799. That was the biggest issue more than design issues,” he said.

News of the dress project did leak out in August, though individual Alfred Angelo stores were not given warning and staffers did not receive pictures or inventories, according to The Daily Mail.

Alfred Angelo’s partnership with Summit goes beyond the dress, though. The retailer is also offering the Prom 2012 Romantic Vampire Collection, which is “inspired by Bella, Alice, Rosalie, Esme and the Volturi for your most romantic night ever!”
