Alec Baldwin Says Sorry

Alec Baldwin Says Sorry, Everyone knows that Alec Baldwin has a temper. Most people have heard that infamous voice message he left his teenage daughter a few years back. It appears not much has changed in that regard. According to American Airlines, it was Baldwin’s famous temper that got him kicked off a flight earlier this week. It wasn’t, as he portrayed, a simple case of him refusing to stop playing a cell phone game.

The airline explained the situation in detail on Facebook. People who read it, immediately got the idea. Everything stemmed from Baldwin’s refusal to turn off his cell phone while the airplane taxied down the runway. Apparently, he felt himself better than everyone else. They should comply, but he didn’t have to.

At least Alec Baldwin is extending an apology to the passengers of the flight for delaying their trip. He’s not, however, apologizing to the flight attendant he mocked on Twitter or to the airline itself.

Matthew Hiltzik, Baldwin’s spokesperson says that’s because the airline was to blame in the first place. Another celebrity on the flight with Alec Baldwin agrees. Oscar De La Hoya says he thinks the airlines overreacted.

Baldwin claims he wasn’t the only one violating the cellphone shutoff rule. According to him, other people were still on their cell phones too. However, they weren’t “reamed out” like he was.

While that might indeed be the case, it doesn’t excuse Baldwin’s behavior, foul language or temper tantrum. Supposedly, those are what got him kicked off the flight; not his refusal to stop playing a game.
