Play Penn State and get a visit from Arkansas will not be easy. The Crimson Tide needed a couple of things to happen to make sure you’re undefeated in the face of October.
1) The quarterback, whoever it is will have to play smart and largely affected by the thousands and thousands of fans and television cameras.
This will be particularly important in the way of Penn State “of the White House.” The Nittany Lions have a defense undervalued will be hungry to capitalize on any mistake by the rookie.
2) Win the battle at the line of scrimmage.
Last season, Alabama was surprisingly poor in gaining and allowing sacks. That has changed this year against experienced defensive lines and most inexperienced offensive lines Penn State and Arkansas.
3) Time of possession
Nick Saban offense is built around ball control and if time a decisive victory in the Battle possession, in all likelihood has won the two previous categories.
