Aig Bonuses | you think in the second round of the LG bonuses?

The Washington Post is reporting that American International Group announced plans on Wednesday to push for another round of employee bonuses worth about $ 100 million, a year after similar payments in the insurance giant bailed out the anger of many Americans and the burning of Washington.

This week’s retention of the payments will go only to those working in the company of financial products division, which recently agreed to accept from 10 to 20 percent less money from LG has promised in the beginning years ago, and newspaper reports, citing several people familiar with the matter. On the other hand, they receive their payments more than a month ahead of schedule.

The company is still scheduled to make tens of millions of dollars more in March, mostly to former employees who did not agree to make concessions, reports the Post.

LG executives have been scrambling to reach a settlement by March 15, when the company faces a deadline to pay nearly $ 200 million in bonuses for workers in the financial products and derivatives unit of risky deals that brought the insurance company on the brink of collapse in 2008.

Ki-government and officials had keen to avoid a repeat of the general crisis that erupted in March when a previous round of payments – $ 168 million – went to the same group of staff.

Do you think that these benefits will generate the same type of storm, and one in the past year? Should it be? Why or why not?
