Aiadmk, With death threats that continuously received by AIADMK chief Jayalalithaa, Madurai manifestation is all set to begin today amid security measures.

The party treasurer O. Paneerselvam, however, expressed dissatisfaction with safety measures. He said the ruling DMK has had many anti-social elements to trigger violence at the meeting.

“We see many new faces in dhotis colors adorned with our party and the allegations have been confirmed,” Paneerselvam was quoted as saying.

The party has organized its own wing with sufficient safety training given.

Jayalalithaa reported receiving letters with messages that would be killed if he visited Madurai and rally held there.

Since nearly two months, Jayalalithaa has been receiving death threats and two cases have been filed on this in the Guindy police station. According to sources, the threat letters were issued to create controversy.

Jayalalithaa has been provided with Z-plus security and 70 people including six GSN armed guards are deployed at his residence in Poes Garden.

In addition, AIADMK Madurai believes the rally would be a great success and significant political change in Tamil Nadu.
