Adam Lambert Grammy Nomination, Adam Lambert was spotted at the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, CA on Sunday (February 13). The “U Pick Up” singer calmly meandered down the red carpet, smiles for the cameras and talk to the press. As for appointment, Mr. Lambert is up for Best Actor of the pop vocal for his single “Want From Me Whataya.”
With performances by Christina Aguilera, Justin Bieber, Usher, and Miley Cyrus and over, night is a spectacular course. San Diego native Adam Lambert was one of more than 100 awards presented at the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday night in Los Angeles. Did he win? Plus much more.
Lambert, the former Mt. Caramel High School students and American Idol runner until the eighth season, was nominated for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance for his song “Whataya Want From Me?” But the prize was awarded to Bruno for his new arrivals in March lady-woo tune “Just The Way You Are”.
The biggest disappointment of the night may have been teen superstar Justin Bieber, who was heavily favored in the category Best New Artist, but lost to the singer Esperanza Spalding.
But just when it seemed lost Bieber is the shocker of the night, Album of the Year went to Arcade Fire for the suburbs-a big win on superstar Lady Gaga, Eminem, Katy Perry and the favorites of the night Lady Antebellum.
The night also included a performance tribute to Aretha Franklin music legend Jennifer Hudson, Yolanda Adams, Christina Aguilera, Martina McBride and Florence Welch. Other performers on the night included Lady Gaga with her new song “Born This Way”, Barbra Streisand, Mick Jagger, Rihanna, Eminem, Cee Lo Green and Gwyneth Paltrow with puppets, and Katy Perry.
Adam Lambert was not a winner at last night of the 53rd Annual GRAMMY ® Awards, but Adam is not a loser.
The 29 year old singer has been nominated for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance for his song “Whataya Want From Me,” but lost to Bruno Mars
More than one artist to spend their entire careers without ever getting nominated. The mere fact that Lambert was nominated is a testament to his art and talent.
Last night, Adam talked about his new album: “I have no idea what it will look like yet,” said Adam. “I want it to be personal and honest. Rhinestones Less, more leather. Very sincere. ”
Adam will obviously have a long and successful career and we are sure there will be more GRAMMY ® nominations and even a victory or two.
Cheer up Glam nation is not the end of the world; it is only the beginning of more opportunities for Adam Lambert.
