Adam Dell, Halle Berry is not beauty in a battle for custody of an ex. Adam Dell, former boyfriend of Top Chef judge Padma Lakshmi and father of 11-month Krishna, filed documents in court in Manhattan seeking to formalize the former couple’s custody agreement.

Dell and Lakshmi had organized a system of free legal agreement that allowed the former to visit his daughter for nine days a month, but that the contract be canceled when she turns a year on February 20.

With the relationship between the two have turned sour – in part, reports TMZ, the hatred of Dell’s name for her child – the pair will now go to court to decide parental guidance.

Friends of the model / author says she feels “intimidated” by her ex and fears that this is how Dell’s strength in a relationship with him.

Adam Dell, the father of Lakshmi 11-month daughter Thea Krishna, having long been unhappy with the custody agreement hammered last spring, has filed court documents in Manhattan seeking more time with Krishna.

“Adam wanted to avoid going to court, but it was so frustrating trying to find a co-parenting [that] he had to take this action,” a source close to Dell’s People magazine. ” He asked for sole custody of his daughter – but he hopes an agreement for shared custody. ” The source adds that New York courts are not authorized to grant joint custody, which is why Dell has filed for sole custody.

Care arrangements were a source of tension between Lakshmi and Dell since the arrival of Krishna last February. Dell, a venture capitalist who was eventually revealed as the father of Krishna in March, was said to want a greater involvement of his daughter all along.
