Actress Eve Brent Dies At Age 82, Fifty actress Jane played Tarzan in two films during her long career and constant. Eve Brent, whose constant work of more than 60 years in the entertainment included playing opposite Jane Gordon Scott Tarzan in two films of the 1950s, died Aug. 27 of natural causes at the Peaceful Valley Hospital in Sun Valley, Calif. He was 82.
The character actress appeared in dozens of movies and TV shows, from 1955 the forest pic Woman (as Jean Lewis) to the list of successful independent film, which is scheduled for release in 2012.
Director Samuel Fuller Maverick changed its name to Eve Brent when he appeared in Forty Guns, 1977 west, which starred Barbara Stanwyck.
A native of Houston, Brent also had seasons in recent films as The Green Mile (1999), Garfield (2004) and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008).
She played Jane in Tarzan and the Trappers and Tarzan’s Fight for Life, both from 1958, and was a prostitute in Clint Eastwood starring Bluff Coogan (1968). Other film credits include Gun Girls (1957), Bride and the Beast (1958) and Fade to Black (1980), for which she won a Saturn Award.
Multiple television appearances include Brent Death Valley Days, The Adventures of Superman, Dragnet, and family affair, about thirty, Highway to Heaven, Roswell, Scrubs and the Community.
