Abyss

January 15, 2011 by Post Team

Abyss, TNA Impact on Thursday night, Amazing Red “little” brother (who we learned is named Crimson) to put a stranglehold on Abyss backstage and gave a cryptic message, but it is familiar: “They are coming.”

It seems that babyface contingent will arrive shortly in TNA battle with Immortal / heel faction Fortune – and I have a pretty good idea of just who “they” are.

I’m not looking at spoilers, but sometimes they find me, and I have been informed that former TNA star returned to recording the impact of this last week. His presence is essentially the difference of who else will show to join him.

I’ll wait and see approach with this scenario. If – and it’s a big if – the younger guys such as Matt Morgan and Crimson get rubbing him, so I’m quite.

Other thoughts on the show on Thursday:

I’m surprised TNA has not done a better job of setting up Jeff and Matt Hardy teaming together for the first time in a while (three years, according to Mike Tenay). Instead of throwing together on this show, I would have heartened the next week or maybe even the next pay-per-view. …

Speaking of the Hardys, I thought that their victory against Mr. Anderson and Rob Van Dam in the main event was a good game. It was cool to see the brothers back together. …

I was not crazy about new promo TNA World Champion Mr. Anderson at the top of the show. It was released as a promo shoot, as he talked about Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff and Vince Russo, who put him in TNA after someone (he did an impersonation Triple H) got the ear of the boss ” there “and derailed his big push. He said he was on his way to becoming world champion in the company of others when he was suddenly told to walk and talk. In TNA, Anderson said that it is allowed to be him. OK, Anderson is not supposed to be a feud with Hogan and Bischoff, and why is Russo – who never seem to camera – being mentioned? Heck, why not come right out and say that the struggle is predetermined and all the world champions are hand picked by the boss? By the way, after all this time on television in recent weeks has been more devoted to the history of the line Anderson return from a concussion, I do not think he mentioned the word “concussion” once. …

It seems that TNA loading on February 3rd episode of impact, as it was announced that Anderson would defend the TNA World Title against Jeff Hardy, and Hogan would make his return to television. …

Karen Angle, uh, I mean Karen Jarrett made his first appearance on the show for some time, but it was basically just a cameo to establish his appearance on the show next week, when she said that ‘she would tell her side of the story as it comes to her ex-husband, Kurt Angle, and her new husband, Jeff Jarrett. I look forward to that. …

The second leg of Genesis Sunday pay-per-view TNA between the world champions Team Beer Money and The Motor City Machine Guns was good, even if it did not compare to their previous encounters. …

Please tell me that TNA is not stupid enough to separate guns. Before their match against Beer Money, Alex Shelley said in his beard, and behind the back of Chris Sabin, “I would not get kicked in the face,” which was a reference to Sabin accidentally nailing it with a kick in Genesis, which leads to lose the title. There were also a couple gaffes between Shelley and Sabin during the match on impact. Message to Russo: Do not do it. …

“The Pope” D’Angelo Dinero was very good on the microphone when he made fun of Samoa Joe. The visuals with pigs have been pretty funny. …

OK, the title TNA TV was defended on pay-per-view, but when Abyss TNA TV champion Morgan struggled on impact, the title was not on the line. Whatever. At least Morgan won a convincing victory after losing its third straight win pay-per-view main event Sunday. …

Whenever Jeff Hardy does one of his “I am the Antichrist” heel promos, it just makes me laugh because they are so corny. …

So Madison Rayne – who teamed up with Tara and lost to TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions Angelina Love and winter – did something loaded glove. This one has always been, but I do not remember a woman has never done before. …
