Abby Elliott (born June 16, 1987) is an American actress and comedian who is currently a cast member of Saturday Night Live. She is the third generation of his family that has been presented in the program. His father is the actor and comedian Chris Elliott, who was a cast member of Saturday Night Live during the 1994-1995 season (season 20) and his grandfather is Bob Elliott of the popular comedy duo Bob and Ray, who co-starred in the 1978-1979 season (fourth season).  
Before joining SNL, Elliott took classes at The Groundlings comedy and eventually began training and performing in sketch comedy show Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre (UCBT) in Los Angeles. While in UCBT, often in the company of sketch Midnight Show. Elliott joined the cast of SNL halfway up the 2008-2009 season, in November 2008, replacing the outgoing Amy Poehler. Elliott has made special appearances by voice on King of The Hill and Minoriteam.
