Aaron Curry RaidersAaron Curry Raiders, Assuming Curry pass his physical in Oakland, the Raiders sent a 2012 seventh-round draft pick and a fifth-round status in 2013 for the Seahawks.
LB Aaron Curry did not even last three seasons in Seattle before the Seahawks gave up.
At No. 4 of the 2009 draft was traded to the Raiders on Wednesday by a selection in each of the next two drafts, by Jay FOXSports’ Glazer.

Butkus Award winner in 2008 at Wake Forest – and drafted ahead of Mark Sanchez, Brian Orakpo, Josh Freeman, Clay Matthews III, Hakeem Nicks and many others – Curry for the Seahawks thrive amid ever-changing role. He lost his job after this season, but made 22 tackles in five games.

Curry started all 16 games in 2010 and compiled 73 tackles and 3.5 sacks, but did not do enough of the work of turning the game in Seattle expected.

He joins a linebacking corps that Oakland now starts two other reclamation projects in Kamerion Wimbley and Quentin Groves. And with MLB Rolando McClain battling an ankle injury, Curry could be put into service as quickly as possible.
