A Separation MovieA Separation Movie, Iranian “Nader and Simin, a Separation” directed by Asghar Farhadi won the award for best foreign language film at the 69th annual Golden Globe.

“Nader and Simin,a Separation” competed with different films including “The Flowers of War” from China, “The Kid with Bike (Le Gamin au Velo)” a Belgian movie, “The Skin I Live In (La piel que habito)” by Spanish veteran Pedro Almodovar, and “In the Land of Blood” and ” A Honey from Bosnia-Herzegovina” by Hollywood star Angelina Jolie and managed to win the Golden globe award.

Farhadi’s film which is Iran’s representative for Academy Awards 2012 has scored Golden Bear for the Best Film and two silver bears for the cast in German Berlin Film Festival.

Iranian drama also won the Grand Award for the Best Film in Saint Petersburg festival in Russia and also the First Prize of Golden Apricot Film Festival in Armenia. It received Croatian festival award as well.
