A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To Cure Parkinsons, You may remember that little ole scene in ‘Back to the Future’ when Michael J. Fox aka Marty McFly busted out ‘Johnny B. Goode’ on the high school stage.
Well, on Saturday night Fox was at it again and took the stage with his guitar and reenacted that favorite scene alongside Joan Jett, at his annual A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Cure Parkinson’s benefit.
Fox has had a long battle with Parkinson’s and was diagnosed at the age of 30; he is now 50. Through his organization, The Michael J. Fox Foundation, he is dedicated in finding a cure and ensuring the development of improved therapies for the disease.
In the movie, Fox only mimicked playing the Chuck Berry hit, but that didn’t stop him from playing and singing this time around.
