8-year-old, Botox & Mother

8-year-old, Botox & Mother, A mother injecting her 8 years with Botox to make it competitive in the world of entertainment is being investigated by the state of California. Child psychologist Douglas Goldsmith says that the mother is psychologically damaging to her daughter.
“It’s a concern about body image. Girls are forced to worry about wrinkles, and making them think they are ugly, leading to major problems in the future,” says Dr. Goldsmith. “If you shoot in the wrong area, Botox relaxes the muscles that move the eye, and may develop a drooping eyelid,” says Dr. Richard Fryer, a plastic surgeon.
Fryer has made thousands of injections of Botox, and I cannot believe that a mother would do this to her young daughter.
“I know you try to train someone of your stature. You cannot buy Botox without being a doctor. Has to be done under the license of a physician,” Dr. Fryer said.
The supplier of venom to the mother remains a mystery. Dr. Fryer said Botox has been around for decades. It was originally used to effectively treat eye muscle spasms, but now he is seeing younger girls coming in wanting to Botox injections.
“I cast people as young as 20 who wanted to prevent wrinkles from occurring,” says Dr. Fryer.
