6-year-old Saves Grandfather's Life6-year-old Saves Grandfather’s Life, A 6-year-old is credited with saving a life after he called 911 when her diabetic grandfather fainted at home.

The Eagle Tribune reports Zackary Powers called 911 when his grandfather suffered a diabetic shock caused by low blood sugar.

Back on August 20, Zackary was visiting his grandfather, aged 47, Charles Henderson. Henderson says the Tribune Eagle When Zackary accidentally threw a soda can, got up to grab a paper towel, but his grandson insisted that cleaning the spilled drink.

That’s when everything turned black, according to Henderson, and Zackary found his grandfather on the floor. First, the boy called his grandmother. And when he could not reach her, he called 911.

The police dispatcher from Haverhill who took the call told the Eagle Tribune Zackary remained calm while they were talking and was able to answer the questions correctly.

Henderson quickly regained consciousness after the paramedics provided treatment.
