2012 Volkswagen Beetle

2012 Volkswagen Beetle, Earlier this year, Volkswagen has taken place ads on the Super Bowl to introduce his then-upcoming Volkswagen Beetle. The original announcement took us through the “race” of a black beetle, which surpasses all other beetles in the forest, only to become a new beetle silhouette re-form.

However, after publicly revealing the 2012 Volkswagen Beetle Earlier this week, Volkswagen has gone ahead and updated the ad to submit the actual vehicle at the end of the ad.

One of the most famous-and unfortunate-cars ever made in the history of the automobile makes a new debut today at the 2011 New York Auto Show today. Hail aus Deustcheland, comes the new, completely redesigned ‘people’s car “in Volkswagen Beetle.

When first debuted in 1938, sold more than million copies in air-cooled rear engine, rear-drive configuration, giving the widest and longest selling platform ever. The repetition of the second “das Volkswagen” was named the “New Beetle”, and while maintaining the spirit of the original, but also keeps driving characteristics regrettable. The third generation promises to be yet beetle more fuel-efficient sport ever.

The interior mimics the current indoor sports and found solid success in other VAG as the GTi. The exterior maintains the bulbous proportions, but with a hood and the other bent back.

The engines offered will be familiar VW 2.5L straight five, .0L TDI turbodiesel and 2.0-liter TSI petrol four-banger. The 2.5L five is good for hp and lb-ft of torque with the option of a five-speed manual or six-speed automatic, giving the New Beetle 22/31 city / highway mpg for manual and 22/29 mpg, respectively. The Beetle 2.0L TSI is good for 200 horsepower and 207 lb.-ft. of torque and it is the sportiest of the beetle ever.
