2012 Pro Bowl Rosters, Brandon Marshall caught six passes for 177 yards and four touchdowns as the AFC used a dominant second half to earn a 59-41 win over the NFC in the 2012 Pro Bowl. Marshall was named the game’s MVP, as he even caught passes while laying on his back. One of Marshall’s touchdown catches cam when a pair of NFC defenders collided while going for an interception, giving the ball a fortuitous bounce off of Marshall’s leg and into his arms for a score.

The AFC picked off Cam Newton Three times, the final being a pick by Eric Weddle that was returned for a touchdown. The interception was Weddle’s second of the game. Officially, the game was the highest scoring Pro Bowl ever with over 1,100 yards of total offense.

The AFC scored 21 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to blow open a close game. The 59 points by the AFC is a record for points scored by a single squad in the Pro Bowl. The NFC also had plenty of its own antics with a pair of onside kicks and a fake punt thrown by punter Andy Lee for a first down. Drew Brees even attempted an old-fashioned drop kick for an extra point on the NFC’s final touchdown.
