2011 Nfl Preseason Schedule2011 Nfl Preseason Schedule, Florida State Seminoles shocked the world last season with his stellar play and were just the No. 5 team in the coach’s poll released earlier this week. Now, the Seminoles will look to maintain their rank and even move up, it will easily do for two players, quarterback EJ Manuel and defensive end Brandon Jenkins.

Manuel substitute for experience at quarterback Christian Ponder, who was drafted No. 12 overall by the Minnesota Vikings. Think may have had scouts looking at the professional level tools, but Manuel has the tools and athleticism to dominate the Atlantic Coast Conference. The ACC is full of quality teams, but it will be interesting to see if the defense has everything you need to stop Manuel.

Manuel has recently been compared to the current Carolina Panthers QB and No. 1 pick in the NFL’s 2011 draft, Cam Newton. Like Newton, Manuel can exploit defenses through the air and soil, which means you can find ways to win at any given time.

He is entering his third year in the former Soviet Union and is an ideal candidate for the Newcomer of the year. Impressed last year at the Chick-fil-A Bowl, when he led FSU to victory over South Carolina. He managed to throw a touchdown and a full 73.3 percent of his passes. It is this efficiency that has everyone taking notice.

More than any other player on the list, the season really is the accelerated progression of the superstar defensive end Brandon Jenkins. He leads one of the nation’s leading defenses, which returns whopping eight holders last season. His experience and chemistry lead to excellence in 2011. Jenkins shows that there is only one end in the country, but must also are considered as one of the 10 in the 2012 draft in the NFL.

Jenkins is a source of a defensive end with great speed and power. He can mistreat offensive linemen with various maneuvers, which showed last year when he registered 38 tackles solo, a force fumble, 16 tackles for loss and 13.5 sacks. With Da’Quan Bowers in the NFL with the Buccaneers, to greet there leader next bag.

With these two superstars on offense and defense and a solid program, hopes that the Seminoles do no more than a boost to an undefeated season, but a BCS National Championship appearance.
