2011 Frankfurt Motor Show2011 Frankfurt Motor Show, In accordance with time and trends, this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show was dominated by electric and hybrids. Maserati Kubang
One of the most talked about and seen cars at Frankfurt this year was the Kubang, Maserati vision of what the future of high performance, utility luxury supercar will look like.

The Kubang was called the precursor of the future Maserati range, “the creation of a discontinuity by introducing a new segment, and continuity in maintaining DNA integrity of Maserati.”

This is not the first time, but for the House of Trident which exhibits an SUV. Kubang concept was unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show in 2003, ahead of many other brands that actually have the luxury sports services in its portfolio.

To be called a luxury sport SUV, the distinctive style of the Maserati Kubang has been created by the Maserati Style Centre headed by Lorenzo Ramaciotti. The new generation of Maserati engines patented high technology will be developed in Modena. We expect these to be coupled to a gearbox eight-speed automatic.

Mission L-Skoda
In Frankfurt, Skoda Auto introduced its new Concept car L mission. Following its world debut at the fair, the car could reach India as a replacement for Skoda Octavia. Mission Concept Skoda L is a four-door sedan can be fitted either with a choice of engine 1600 cc or 1800 cc TDI engine in terms of market is entering. For India, Skoda can face the likes of Hyundai Verna, Honda City, Ford Fiesta and possibly even the eye higher segment cars like the Chevrolet Cruze and the Honda Civic with larger engine options.

Volkswagen Up!
At the fair, German automaker Volkswagen released the ‘Up!’, By far the smallest of its production ready to hatch. The Up! The car can pack different engine sizes, from a gasoline engine of one liter. It will also have greater capabilities of market-based engine that is being launched in.

SsangYong Korando, Rexton II
