2011 Chicago Marathon Results, Sunday 09 October, saw the 2011 Chicago Marathon will take place, one of the most prestigious long distance race in the world. Chicago Marathon attracts the best athletes in the sport and because the course is so flat it is often over short periods. Let us give you a summary of some of the results of the race this year.

So as you can see Moses Mosop was the winner of the 34th Chicago Marathon and set a career high again after parting with the matter. The previous record was achieved by Sammy Wanjiru in 2009, but crashed Mosop by 4 seconds in his first appearance at the Chicago Marathon. In fact, Kenya took the top three spots in the men’s race, making it a remarkable day for the country. Mosop and earns 100,000 cash prize for first place and an additional $ 50,000 and for a new record. U.S. Ryan Hall came in fifth place in its third-best marathon time and said he was not disappointed.

Liliya Shobukhova not only won the women’s race, but left three wins in a row at the Chicago Marathon. Shobukhova also set a record in Russia and at the same time qualified for the 2012 Olympic team. In addition, she also took a bag and 100,000.
